Migraine prodrome and attack timeline
This timeline turns a complicated episode into a chronological account you can save or bring to an appointment. It does not label the phases or diagnose migraine.

Start with a blank, spacious worksheet.
The printable version uses US Letter paper, selectable text, generous writing space, and the same prompts as the private builder.
Why this exists
Show the sequence, not just the symptom list.
An attack can include changes before pain, overlapping symptoms, and a long recovery. Placing each observation in time makes the episode easier to recall and discuss without forcing every experience into a named phase.
How to use it
- Complete only the prompts that matter to your situation. Unknown or forgotten details can stay blank.
- Watch the live PDF preview update as you enter information.
- Download or print that exact PDF, or use the blank worksheet by hand.
- Review the result before sharing it. Remove anything you do not want another person to see.
A realistic way to use it
Start with the first change you noticed and its approximate time, then add visual or sensory changes, the main episode, functional limits, and what remained during recovery. Uncertain timing can stay approximate.
What the output means
The timeline is a chronological account of one episode. It does not classify symptoms as prodrome or aura, name a headache type, or determine whether a new symptom is urgent.
Privacy by construction
The form works in browser memory. Calmraine does not receive the names, symptoms, treatments, cycle dates, workplace notes, contact details, or other text entered here. Analytics can record that someone started or exported the tool, but never the field values. Reloading or clearing the form removes the current entries.
Methodology and sources
The sequence mirrors the broad chronology described in migraine phase literature but keeps every label observational. Users supply the timing and Calmraine does not assign a phase.

If a headache or neurological symptom feels new, sudden, severe, or unsafe, use appropriate urgent medical care instead of waiting to finish a worksheet.
